Contract Position - Melbourne, Analytical Chemist - See Job Ad

We are seeking expressions of interest for experienced, hands on Analytical Chemists to assist in leading the delivery of laboratory services in our Mulgrave Laboratory for an exciting new contract. Working as part of a team, in line with government operating and reporting standards our new Analytical Chemist team members will be responsible for sample preparation, the testing of samples, reporting of results and maintenance of the test results data base.  They will work with the Teamleader to monitor productivity and quality, as well as prepare analysis  reports and maintain the test results data base.  They will operate equipment including  XRF, LOI and NIR equipment and ensure operating equipment is maintained, compliant and calibrated. Full Time Position - Mulgrave, Mechanical Engineer - See Job Ad

As a Mechanical Engineer you will deliver a suite of services including, but not limited to; liasing closely with customers to understand and scope work requirements, preparing detailed project plans, producing cost estimates and proposals, overseeing project delivery, preparing and presenting reports to clients as required. Your technical expertise will be in modelling for the assessment of complex components and high temperature pressure equipment, stress analysis and testing, fatigue and creep life assessments, defect tolerance assessments, structural engineering assessments, engineering audits, pressure vessel design verifications and piping inspections. You will be required to work in the field from time to time and must be prepared to travel as required. The successful applicant will work independently or as part of a project team to deliver onsite services, and work within specified codes and compliance standards.
