HRL was approached to conduct a comprehensive analysis of a high purity hydrogen product sample in accordance with the standard, AS ISO 14687:2020 Hydrogen fuel quality. The client sought to have HRL sample the high purity hydrogen on-site and ensure the sample complied with the stringent product specifications. The analysis encompassed a wide range of constituents, including hydrogen purity, non-hydrogen gases, individual contaminants, and particulate concentrations.

HRL's Gas Testing Services team liaised with the customer prior to the sampling event to ensure that all safety standards and protocols were followed, completing the required safety inductions for the site, and issuing a JSEA prior to the sampling day. The sample was taken on-site in a safe and professional manner to ensure the safety of the operators and the integrity of the sample. The sample was analysed at HRL’s Mulgrave, Victoria Laboratory, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and reliability, adhering to the prescribed standard, and employing state-of-the-art analytical techniques. The sample was received and analysed within the specified timeframe.
